What countries do you ship to?
At present, we only ship to the USA and Canada; however, if you are in another country and wish to purchase the medallion, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
US purchasers must provide a U.S. Social Security Number (SSN) or Internal Revenue Service (IRS) employer identification number for any order equal to or exceeding CAD $2,500.
How can I receive a quote on shipping costs?
Once you have entered the items you intend to purchase into the shopping cart, you can calculate your shipping costs in the cart before confirming your order. Simply enter your address details into the Shipping Cost section and the shipping cost will appear in the order summary details.
How do you ship orders?
We ship orders via FEDEX, UPS or Canada Post, depending on your location and value of your order. All packages are sent fully insured (cost included in shipping charge). Once your order has been shipped, you will a tracking number by email along with an updated copy of your invoice indicating that your order has been shipped. All orders require adult signature on delivery.
How will I know when my order has been shipped?
Once your order is shipped, you will be emailed a copy of your tracking number.
When will my order be delivered my order?
It will depend on your destination and the courier. We provide an estimate time at checkout but we cannot guarantee delivery times and shipments may be delayed due to weather or transport delays. For this reason we provide a tracking number with all orders so customers can track delivery information and dates for their orders.
Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?
At this time, we do not ship to PO Boxes, so please make sure that you specify a physical shipping address on your order. If you include a PO Box in your delivery address, your order will be cancelled.
Can I ship my order to a different country than where I am located?
No. We cannot ship your order to a second party located in a different country.
When will my order be shipped?
If the product(s) you have ordered are in stock and your order has been processed correctly, please allow up to five business days for your order to be shipped from our facility.
Is a signature required at time of delivery?
Yes. An adult signature is required. Shipments will not be released without a signature.
What happens if I cannot receive the coins?
There will be a $100 USD non-refundable charge deducted from all orders that have been returned as undeliverable, returned due to the failure of the purchaser to do so, or for all orders where customers will not forward the requested name and address confirmation and the customer will assume all risk of loss in the return shipment.
How are the orders packaged for shipping?
Most of our orders are packaged in padded mailers and boxes.
How will my package be marked on the outside?
All shipments are sent discreetly with no description on the outside of the box.
Can I pick up my order at your office?
At this time, we do not offer pick up orders.
Who is liable should my package be lost or stolen while in transit?
All of our orders are insured and we will file a claim if the package is lost of stolen. Once the claim is filed, we reserve the right to re-ship or refund your money at their discretion. All damaged product must be returned for inspection to us at the expense of the customer.
Note: Giving the courier permission to leave your shipment without signature and/or giving someone else signing privileges for your delivery will void your insurance. This includes a building concierge, mail rooms, neighbours and family members. Guanajuato Silver cannot be held responsible for any package delivered to a non-residential address or deliveries signed for by a third party. Your insurance will be voided.
Will I have to pay duty or brokerage charges for my order?
All precious metal orders shipped in North America are not subject to duty or brokerage charges. Please DO NOT pay any extra charges for your shipment to UPS/FEDEX if you are located in North America and contact us right away so we can ask UPS/FEDEX to review the charges. We suggest all international customers contact local customs to find duty, brokerage or tax regulations for their Countries.
For all other countries, the purchaser is responsible for the payment of customs, duties, and taxes.
